St. Nicholas of Tolentine School
"A Place Where Students Flourish and Talents Flow"
We continue to build our educational program on the rich heritage established by the Adrian Dominican Sisters in 1909. Inspirational teachers have motivated students in a faith-filled environment for over 105 years and, with careful planning, will continue to do so for many years to come!
St. Nicholas of Tolentine School has been blessed with the support of the Archdiocese of Chicago, the Big Shoulders Fund, and the St. Nicholas of Tolentine Parish community. Providing an extraordinary education, however, requires extraordinary resources for additional programming, new technology, and capital improvements. Our goal is to ensure our learning environment inspires students to academic achievement, instills faith values, and encourages them to be involved in the greater world around them – now and throughout their lifetime. We invite you to help us carry on the work started by the Adrian Dominican Sisters and help us lead the way to the future!
St. Nicholas has decided to go above and beyond our normal operating budget and begin an exciting capital drive to fund air conditioning that will serve all classrooms at our school. Currently we have 12 classrooms without air conditioning. The school has made it a goal to raise the funds and complete the project in 3 phases.
Phase 1: Outfit & wire upper floor classrooms in Middle School
Phase 2: Outfit & wire upper floor classrooms in Elementary Level
Phase 3: Outfit & wire lower level
We realize this fundraising project will take a few years to complete, but we know that it can be done. Our goal for this year is to raise enough money to complete phase 1 of the air conditioning project. We need to raise $50,000 to meet our Phase 1 goal.
To complete our phase 1 goal this year, we are asking for your help. Please consider making a donation to the St. Nicholas of Tolentine School Air Conditioning Project. Your donation is 100% tax deductible. St. Nicholas of Tolentine School will be holding its Annual Spring Fling Dinner Dance on March 1, 2014, at the Burbank Manor, located in Burbank IL.
A donation can be made in the following manners:
· A direct monetary donation
· By purchasing a ticket(s) to the Annual Spring Fling Dinner Dance
· By donating a product, service, or gift certificate as a raffle item
It is our sincere hope that you consider gifting St. Nicholas of Tolentine with a donation of any type. Please feel free to contact us with any questions.
