St. Nicholas of Tolentine School develops well rounded children through daily enrichment classes and a wide range of extracurricular activities. We are proud of our heritage and respect all cultures.
Music Education – Students develop poise, self-confidence and a sense of teamwork through participation in many musical groups. Students as young as first grade play musical instrument and participate in the school choir. Music education is an essential part of our curriculum. Research students suggest that students who take music lessons and participate in related activities have higher IQs.

Spanish – Provided to classes in Kindergarten to 8th grade. Spanish lessons allow the children to learn the basics of the language, such as what sounds the letters make. We introduce students to the Spanish language and Hispanic cultures.
Gym – Students meet in the gym and have opportunities to experience exposure to many different sports and fitness. General health concepts are infused through research on personal or classroom topics or interest.
Library – Once a week students visit the library to listen to stories; learn about books, authors, and illustrators; and learn to meet their own information needs through research on personal or classroom topics or interest.
Computer – In a world where skillful technology manipulation is a must, students begin learning how to use computers at an early age. Youngsters play games that enhance and reinforce their literacy levels, while other students are introduced to practical applications and taught best practices for research.

Whiteboard Technology – Helps teachers bring more collaboration and interactivity into the classroom. Whiteboards are so easy to use, teachers incorporate them into their teaching to transform student learning and increase engagement.
